I have specialized in photographing boudoir for 6 years now and I absolutely love it. Recently, I had a client come in and ask if they would have to sign a release to share their images if they booked a session. The answer is ABSOLUTELY NOT. Ninety percent of my clients DO NOT sign releases for all sorts of reasons and I absolutely understand. I am first and foremost creating these images for YOU.
However, I do get excited when the odd client will allow me to use their pictures to show potential clients. These brave women allow me to show you how great a session is! Thankfully, this brave woman, Miss. S., allowed me to share some of her images with you!
Who is she? She is a mom, she is a business owner, she is a former gymnast, she recently got married and she is one kick ass woman.
So how did this session go down? I asked her prior to her session what her dream outfit to be photographed in and she sent a few examples. From there I knew I wanted to start off with a softer look and then go to a darker racier look so that she had a variety of options. While we encourage clients to bring in their own unique pieces, we do have a client closet that allows me to pull a few things that I KNOW will work for your session.
After hair and makeup (Dallen looks at the outfits and comes up with a look that is going to work with all three), we went right into a fully guided shoot. I always start off with super easy and flattering poses to get clients warmed up. I guide clients fully into poses (often demonstrating). I crack them up for smiles and natural looks and tell them exactly where to look and how to move to get the best photos possible. This particular woman had exceptional core strength and I was able to push her for some awesome poses.
Don’t hesitate to contact us and chat about booking a boudoir session. I am absolutely passionate about photographing women and helping them see how amazing they are.
