How long is a session?
Family sessions are typically 45 minutes to an hour long. Newborn sessions are around 1.5-2 hours depending on how many breaks baby needs throughout the session for feeding and changing.
How are locations chosen for a session?
I am happy to use any locations that are special to you (family farm, etc…) or if you prefer, I love to scout for unique locations prior to your session!
How can we make sure our session is successful?
My best advice is to just take a deep breath and relax! I am VERY used to working with kids of all ages and temperaments and I got this! I have so many tricks to get the best images possible so don’t worry if you think your kids aren’t behaving. They are kids! They are doing what kids do best and that is exactly what lifestyle photography is all about. Just try and find the joy in the moment, whatever that moment may be!
What do we receive from a session?
All clients receive an online gallery of approximately 30+ fully edited images to download and use as you wish. The online gallery also offers professional printing of a curated range of products. USBS are available to purchase for an additional cost.

What can we expect from a family session?
Family sessions are lifestyle based meaning there will be a handful of images of everyone looking at the camera, but the majority of images are of you interacting. I provide prompts to get your family moving, laughing, and having fun together.
How should we dress for our session?
NEW to 2024 is access to a client closet full of dresses to help make your session look amazing! Dresses are available for children and adults up to 4x.
My top tips are to avoid logos or images on your clothes and being too matchy, matchy.

When are sessions scheduled for?
All outdoor sessions are scheduled in the evening for 1.5 hours prior to sunset. All indoor sessions are scheduled in the morning around 10am.
What is an in-home newborn session?
An in-home newborn session is a 1.5-2 hour-long session done in your own home that uses the environment of your home to create a beautiful and personal backdrop to your images. I bring a few bowls and wraps for baby and then incorporate items from your own home to create beautiful images.
Do you offer maternity sessions?
I do offer outdoor maternity in the summer and fall as well as in-home casual sessions. I recommend doing indoor for winter to get more variety of images.
Is there a discount if I book both maternity and newborn sessions together?
Yes! I offer $100 off when booked together.
Do you charge mileage?
Yes. I currently charge $0.50/km for any travel outside of 20km of Weyburn.
